Wind River Dressage headed out to the Festival of Champions this past Sunday so our two junior riders, Ivy Baker and Chelsea Christensen, could prepare to compete in the Dressage Seat Equitation Finals. Both riders had planned to compete on "loaned" horses and borrowed rides from local horse owners. Unfortunately, the horse assigned to Ivy came up lame. So with help from our wonderful friend, Joanne McLennan, and the German Riding Ponies-North America group, we went in search of the very generous GRPNA member, Denise Vicente, and her lovely GRP mare, J'Adore ("Dory"). Ivy and Dory have become fast friends and are ready to represent California Dressage Society-LA Chapter, Region 7. USEF Network will be live streaming the 13 and Under Division at 1:00pm Pacific Time. Good luck Ivy and Chelsea!
